1. Jaime will kill Cersei
In A Feast for Crows, Cersei constantly refers to a prophecy given to her as a child that states the end will be brought on by a "valonqar," or little brother. While Cersei herself believes that the prophecy refers to Tyrion, there is much speculation that it actually refers to her twin and lover Jaime. We personally believe that at some point over the course of the remaining two novels, Jaime's relationship with Brienne of Tarth will grow. This will anger Cersei and she will take some sort of measures to get rid of Brienne. In his anger, Jaime will kill both himself and Cersei, or as I like to put it "exiting the world the same way they came in: together."
2. Jon Snow is Azor Ahai
The identity of the prophecized Azor Ahai is very debated in A Song of Ice and Fire. While the red priestess Melisandre is convinced that Stannis is Azor Ahai, others in the free cities believe it to be Daenarys. We personally believe the identity of Azor Ahai is Jon Snow. Our first piece of evidence comes from A Dance With Dragons, when Melisandre looks into the flames and asks the red god to show her Azor Ahai, but "all she could see was snow." Another piece of evidence is at the end of the book when Jon is betrayed by the Night's Watch and is seemingly stabbed to death. He sees smoke and tastes salt in his mouth, meaning this could be his rebirth amidst smoke and salt. Finally, we believe that the Night's Watch words of being a "being the fire that burns against the cold and the light that brings the dawn" is actually referring to Lightbringer, the prophecized weapon of Azor Ahai. We believe that Lightbringer is a metaphor for the real weapon Azor Ahai will wield: the Night's Watch.
3. Qyburn is working for Roose Bolton
Qyburn is the replacement for Varys in King's Landing as of A Feast for Crows and is Cersei's personal maester. One prediction we have about Qyburn is that he is working for an outside source, whom we believe may be Roose Bolton. Roose seems to be the kind of guy who likes to betray his allies, as seen in A Storm of Swords, so why not have an inside man at King's Landing? Especially one who is close to the Queen Regent? While we don't have any solid evidence on this one, we believe it is very possible that Qyburn's allegiances lie elsewhere.
4. Arya will be reunited with Nymeria
Although we know George R.R. Martin likes to be pretty cruel to his characters, we believe there will at least be one happy ending. At some point in the next two books, we believe that Arya Stark will be reunited with her lost direwolf Nymeria. By means of this, we do not know, but we know that Arya and Nymeria are still very closely linked as Arya has many green dreams about her. Perhaps Nymeria will come to Arya's aide in the near future, or vice versa.
5. Coldhands is really Benjen Stark
Again, we do not have much evidence for this prediction, but it is something we believe quite firmly in. From the instance Coldhands was introduced in A Storm of Swords, we immediately thought of Benjen Stark. It would make some sense afterall. Benjen went missing during the first book, never to be seen or heard from again. It is quite possible that he was turned into a wight, but somehow retains portions of his mind or memory that are enabling him to help Bran.
6. Bran Stark will warg into a dragon
Since the very first novel, something that has been repeated to Bran in his green dreams constantly is the words "You will not walk, but you will fly." Of course, this could easily be referring to any number of animals who can fly, but we believe Bran has a greater destiny that that. We believe that at some point over the next two books, Bran is going to warg into one of Daenarys' dragons. Which one, we do not know, but if we had to guess we'd probably say Rhaegal.
7. Jon will warg into Ghost
At the end of Dance with Dragons, Jon is betrayed by his brothers at the Night's Watch and seemingly dies. I would first like to say, there is no way Jon Snow is dead. If there is one thing I notice about George R.R. Martin, if he is going to kill somebody, he doesn't make it a cliffhanger, he does it in the middle of the book so you know they are dead. In every other book, when we have "thought" someone has been dead as a cliffhanger, they have wound up alive (namely Davos and Brienne). We believe that while Jon's body could not have survived the stabs, his mind will warg into Ghost's and he will live as a direwolf for a portion. In the meanwhile, Melisandre will likely heal his body in the same way Thoros was able to heal Lord Beric's body and Jon will eventually warg back into his own body.
8. Sansa is the Queen in Cersei's prophecy
Now, this is a personal theory I have that I don't think I have seen anywhere else. In A Feast for Crows, we find out exactly why Cersei was so kind to Sansa at times. Another part of Cersei's prophecy was that a young queen more beautiful than she would rise up and take everything she cared about. Cersei believed this queen to be Sansa, as she was betrothed to Jofferey, so what better way to prevent this than to make her into the perfect little daughter. Of course, this betrothal doesn't last and Joffrey, and later Tommen, ends up wedded to Margaery Tyrell. We know Margaery has intentions of taking the throne from Cersei and Cersei also believes in this, but I am not convinced Margaery is whom the prophecy speaks of. I still believe it to be Sansa Stark. Sansa is on her way to claim Winterfell as we speak, which would, in turn, make her the Queen of the North. I believe Sansa is going to fulfill this prophecy, it would be a fun twist in Cersei's plans.
9. The Wall will fall
This is another one of those predictions we can't really back up. There is not much to say about this one, but we predict that the Wall is going to fall during the final book of the series. Likely, it could fall in a giant battle between the Dragons and the Others, but we don't really have an opinion on that.
10. The show will overtake the books
This one is obviously different from our other predictions, but it is one we firmly believe in. Currently, as of 2012, the third season of the show consisting of the first half of A Storm of Swords is set to air while George has roughly 400 pages completed of The Winds of Winter. George has stated that the earliest his next book could release is 2014. We predict A Feast for Crows and A Dance With Dragons will consist of three seasons of the show. If George gets the book out by 2014, then perhaps we have a chance, but it is likely not going to happen. We predict a 2015/2016 release for The Winds of Winter, in which the show would already be about half way through Feast/Dance. In that scenario, George would have to finish the final book, A Dream of Spring, in a mere 3 years if he wishes to finish before the show finishes the storyline. This is probably not possible. All of this is also assuming that the show continues to release only one season per year, which the creators have stated may not be the case as they may start airing seasons in the fall as well as the spring. Another thing to take into account is if George ends up creating an eighth book because book six and seven don't cover what he wanted to. All in all, we don't think George will finish the series before the show does.
