TOP 10: Kingdom Hearts Songs

Hey everyone, really sorry we haven't been uploading any articles lately. You know how it is, school and work season so we have less time to collaborate and make new articles.

We know that our Pikmin 3 and Mario & Luigi 4 reviews are very late, but we promise to add them to this month's review scores alongside Grand Theft Auto V and Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX reviews.

In the spirit of the latest Kingdom Hearts release, I thought I'd upload this article. Hope you enjoy and please continue to be patient with us!

Number 10
Organization XIII Theme
Kingdom Hearts II
The Organization XIII Theme kicks off this list. Its mysterious undertones perfectly capture the characters the song is themed for and serves as one of the better character themes in the games.

Number 9
Castle Oblivion
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Castle Oblivion was always a very interesting and mysterious place in the games, and its theme suited it perfectly. A mixture of mystery and impending doom conveyed through the music helped make Chain of Memories such an unforgettable games.

Number 8
The 13th Struggle
Kingdom Hearts II
The battle theme of the Organization XIII members. Fans of the series who played passed the first game will recognize this theme easily, and it was a clear indicator that you were facing one of the 13 deadliest enemies in the game, thus, the 13th struggle.

Number 7
Sacred Moon
Kingdom Hearts II
The theme of the world in-between that is home to Organization XIII. This epic final level of both Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts 3D is an unforgettable one, and the epic music that encompasses the streets and castle walls of this world helps build up the games right until the final moments.

Number 6
One-Winged Angel
Kingdom Hearts (Final Fantasy VII)
I know that One-Winged Angel did not originate in Kingdom Hearts, but it is still a Kingdom Hearts piece of music. This piece of music plays when you do the hidden battles against Sephiroth in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, and is a suitable track for the most difficult boss in the series.

Number 5
End of the World
Kingdom Hearts
This theme will be recognized by Kingdom Hearts fans both as what began and ended their journey. This song played during the tutorial of Kingdom Hearts, and then was never heard again until the final level of the game: The End of the World. This theme is strange in that it is both eerie and soothing at the same time.

Number 4
Sanctuary
Kingdom Hearts II
Sanctuary is the iconic theme of Kingdom Hearts II that became the second official theme of the series. It has reoccurred during the introductions and conclusions of various titles, and through its many different versions, captures the essence of Kingdom Hearts itself.

Number 3
Roxas' Theme
Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days
This song originated in Kingdom Hearts II, but I chose to note it as a 358/2 Days song because it fits the game much better. This is perhaps the saddest song in the series, and rightfully so, as it narrates the story of Roxas. 358/2 Days was an altogether sad game, and Roxas' theme conveys this sadness and sense of being alone perfectly.

Number 2
Simple and Clean
Kingdom Hearts
When any Kingdom Hearts fan hears Simple and Clean, they tend to get overjoyed with nostalgia. Simple and Clean is the first official theme of the series and much like Sanctuary, has been used at various points throughout the series and has many different versions. And the best thing about this song, is it is actually a really good song in itself, without having to be related to Kingdom Hearts.

Number 1
Dearly Beloved
Kingdom Hearts
Our top song, which should come as no surprise, is the title menu theme found in every single Kingdom Hearts game known as Dearly Beloved. While the version varies from game to game, Dearly Beloved is a song that can express any emotion, whether that emotion be hope, beauty or sadness. I personally chose to give you the 358/2 Days version of the song because it is my favourite version, but the many other versions are also exceptional.
