TOP 100 Nintendo Enemies (71-80)

Number 80
Dyna Blade
Series: Kirby
Dyna Blade (Kirby Super Star Ultra)
Coming in at Number 80 is the vicious Kirby baddie, the Dyna Blade. This giant, metallic bird is one of the more memorable Kirby bosses, having an entire campaign devoted to it in Kirby Super Star and then appearing again to wreak havoc in Kirby Air Ride.

Number 79
General Scales
Series: Star Fox
General Scales (Star Fox Adventures)

General Scales is the tyrant leader of the SharpClaw tribe in the platformer Star Fox Adventures. In his thirst for power, General Scales tore apart Dinosaur Planet, almost leading it to destruction unless the planet surrendered to him. Unfortunately, this antagonist's boss fight was cut late in development, but his dark rise to power was enough for him to make it onto this list.

Number 78
Shroobs
Series: Mario & Luigi
Princess Shroob & Shroobs (Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time)
The Shroobs are an alien race of mushroom people that invade and conquer the Mushroom Kingdom in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, using time travel to attack both the present and the past versions of the kingdom. They are lead by their vicious leaders, the two Princess Shroobs, who kidnap and take Princess Peach hostage, forcing Mario & Luigi to team up with their younger selves in order to stop the aliens from taking over the kingdom completely.

Number 77
Eggplant Wizard
Series: Kid Icarus
Eggplant Wizard (Kid Icarus: Uprising)
The Eggplant Wizard is an iconic enemy from Nintendo's recently revived franchise, Kid Icarus. As you can likely tell from his name, the Eggplant Wizard is a living eggplant with magical powers. And what is his main power? He turns his adversaries into...eggplants. Pretty bizarre, huh?

Number 76
Kracko
Series: Kirby
Kracko (Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land)

Kracko is as iconic to the Kirby series as King Dedede and Meta Knight, appearing in almost every single game since the very first game in the series. Kracko's boss fight is always expected in a new Kirby game, where the giant cloud will drop Waddle Doos to do away with Kirby as he tries to ram him and electrocute him.

Number 75
Thanatos
Series: Kid Icarus
Thanatos (Kid Icarus: Uprising)
Thanatos, or Thantos as he was originally known, is a villain from the Kid Icarus franchise. He was originally the general of Medusa's army before Kid Icarus: Uprising, in which he had a massive character change and began serving Hades. For the god of death, Thanatos is very flamboyant...which was an interesting choice for Nintendo. Nonetheless, he was a hilarious addition to the game.

Number 74
Stalfos
Series: The Legend of Zelda
Stalfos (Ocarina of Time)
The Stalfos are the undead, skeletal warriors that appear in many Zelda games. Stalfos vary depending on the game you're playing, from the swordsman you see above to the four-armed menaces you find in Skyward Sword. These undead creatures are always a pain to find, and always provide a challenge for Link as he goes through the many temples of the series.

Number 73
Mr. L
Series: Paper Mario
Mr. L (Super Paper Mario)
After so many years, Super Paper Mario finally did something that no other Mario game was bold enough to do: pit Mario against his brother, Luigi. In Super Paper Mario, Dimentio brainwashes Luigi into thinking he is a man named "Mr. L." It turns out that Luigi is a fabled person that would decide the fate of the entire universe, and Dimentio tries to use this to his gain.

Number 72
Birdo
Series: Super Mario
Birdo (Mario Party 7)
While she has only ever appeared as an enemy once, what an enemy she was! Birdo debuted as the egg-spitting mini-boss that you would encounter in almost every single level of Super Mario Bros. 2. Since then, she has become more of a good guy, appearing in many Mario spin-off titles and pursuing a relationship with Yoshi. You can see her showing off her engagement ring in the picture above.

Number 71
Junior Troopa
Series: Paper Mario
Junior Troopa (Paper Mario)
Junior Troopa is the persistent Koopa-child that appears as Mario's rival in the first Paper Mario game. Despite only being a baby, Junior Troopa keeps coming back and getting more powerful, even infiltrating Bowser's fortress and taking out some of Bowser's best lackies in order to get his own shot at taking out Mario.
