TOP 100 Nintendo Enemies (1-5)

Don't forget to hit subscribe at the bottom of the page! It would be much appreciated and help you to keep up with all our updates!

Number 5
King Dedede
Series: Kirby
King Dedede (Kirby Super Star Ultra)
King Dedede is the greedy and gluttonous ruler of Dream Land and one of the main antagonists of the Kirby series. While not always appearing in a villainous role, Dedede is known for being a cruel monarch, stealing food from his entire land on multiple occasions to support his gluttonous and slothful lifestyle. There are a few occasions in which Dedede helps save Dream Land, but it can only be assumed he does this so that he can continue to exploit his people and suck them dry of their resources. No matter how many times Kirby takes this guy out, he never learns his lesson. It may be time for a revolution in Dream Land.

Number 4
Wario
Series: Super Mario/Wario Land
Wario (Wario World)
Wario is the pure embodiment of greed. He has one sole purpose in life and it is to make as much cash as quickly as possible, no matter who he harms in the process. He has appeared as a villain in quite a few Mario titles, but the true extent of Wario's villainy is displayed in games where he is the protagonist. In every single one of the Wario Land or WarioWare games, Wario displays everything wrong in a protagonist. Many of the "villains" in his games are actually just trying to stop Wario from being so greedy, as Wario ravages lands or exploits people to make a quick buck. You know a guy is pretty bad when he is the bad guy in his own games!

Number 3
Ridley
Series: Metroid
Omega-Ridley (Metroid Prime 3: Corruption)
The villainous leader of the Space Pirates and the last known Space Dragon in existence, Ridley has haunted Samus Aran throughout her entire career. Ridley was the one who killed Samus' parents, leaving her without a family and indirectly causing her to become the bounty hunter she is today. No matter how many times Samus has killed Ridley, he always comes back. The Space Pirates use every resource they can possibly find to make sure that their vigorous and powerful leader never stays dead, whether it be through cybernetic enhancements, Phazon-injection or cloning, Ridley's death is never final. Since even death cannot stop Ridley's rampage, it is no doubt that he is the single biggest threat that the universe may have ever known.

Number 2
Bowser
Series: Super Mario
Bowser (Super Smash Bros. For Wii U)
Bowser, the King of Koopas and persistent nemesis of Mario is one of the most iconic and recognizable enemies in all of Nintendo. The King of Koopas needs no explanation for why he is this high on the list. Since 1985, this giant fire-breathing turtle has been kidnapping princesses and taking over the Mushroom Kingdom since before video games were a big thing. He never fails to find new ways to battle Mario, whether it be in his Koopa Clown Car or a giant Hot Tub inside a volcano, this baddy never fails to terrorize the plumber in any way possible. And let's not forget, this baddy doesn't just want to stop Mario, but he wants to stop anyone else who wants to stop Mario, as seen in the many Mario RPG games where he teams up temporarily with the plumber to make sure that only he can conquer the Mushroom Kingdom and marry Princess Peach. This lovable enemy is, of course, only second to one...

Number 1
Ganon
Series: The Legend of Zelda
The Many Incarnations of Ganon
The Leader of the Gerudos. The Prince of Thieves. The King of Darkness. Ganon, the powerful and black-hearted enemy of all things good is our top Nintendo enemy, and for good reason. Ganon first debuted as a giant blue pig, wielding a trident and the Triforce of Power as he stole Princess Zelda and conquered all of Hyrule. Throughout his many appearances, Ganon has grown as a character, becoming darker and more powerful every time. Ocarina of Time explained how Ganon used to be Ganondorf, a powerful Gerudo warlock who broke into the Sacred Realm and claimed the Power of the Gods for himself. Despite only having one-third of the Triforce, Ganon has been able to conquer Hyrule countless times, with his death rarely ever being final. You also have to remember, almost every Zelda game features a different Link and a different Zelda, but Ganon is always the same. This same one monster has fought dozens of variations of the heroes and in some continuities, prevailed over them. There is a reason Ganon is known as the King of Darkness, because he is the baddest of the bad, and will forever be the greatest enemy the Nintendo universe has ever known.
