TOP 100 Nintendo Enemies (51-60)

Number 60
Medusa
Series: Kid Icarus
Medusa (Kid Icarus: Uprising)
While the Medusa from Kid Icarus shares a name and a look with the Gorgon of Greek Mythology, she is much more than just a powerful monster. In Kid Icarus, Medusa is the Goddess of Darkness, the counterpart of Palutena who is the Goddess of Light. She is the main antagonist of the first two Kid Icarus games and also the main antagonist of the first section of Kid Icarus: Uprising, where she leads her legions of the Underworld to try to conquer and destroy Skyworld and shun the light forever.

Number 59
Lord Crump
Series: Paper Mario
Lord Crump (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)
Lord Crump is the bashful, clumsy and incompetent general of the X-Naut army in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Lord Crump plays a similar role to Junior Troopa, where he serves as a reoccurring rival to Mario throughout the game, making up almost half of the game's boss fights, ranging from him fighting head on, fighting in a robot, or fighting with armies of minions.

Number 58
Phantoon
Series: Metroid
Phantoon (Super Metroid)
Phantoon is a ghost from another world who is immune to attacks, as anything will pass through his intangible body. His eye, located inside his mouth, is the only thing that connects him to the physical world, and is therefore, his only weakness. Phantoon feeds on energy to become powerful, as seen in Metroid: Other M when he feeds on the Bottle Ship in order to grow to a gigantic size and serve as the game's Bonus Final Boss.

Number 57
Whispy Woods
Series: Kirby
Whispy Woods (Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land)
Whispy Woods is another series staple for the Kirby franchise. He serves as the first boss in almost every single Kirby game, dropping apples and spitting at Kirby to kill him. In some games, such as Kirby 64, he actually obtains the ability to move. He has also appeared on two different stages in the Super Smash Bros. series, one of which is considered the "major league gamer" stage.

Number 56
Moblins
Series: The Legend of Zelda
Moblin (Ocarina of Time)
Moblins are pig-like warriors that appear in many different Zelda games. Most of the original Zelda games say that Moblins were created by Ganon when he entered the Dark World, and serve as his loyal minions to try and conquer Hyrule and the Light World. As of Skyward Sword, it would seem that Moblins actually predated Ganondorf, as they were also the servants of the Demon King, Demise, who looked somewhat like a Moblin himself. Perhaps when Demise's hatred was passed on to Ganon, he gained control of Demise's dark army.

Number 55
Pyrrhon
Series: Kid Icarus
Pyrrhon (Kid Icarus: Uprising)
Pyrrhon is the God of the Sun that debuts in Kid Icarus: Uprising. While coming across as cocky, arrogant, and somewhat harmless at first, Pyrrhon becomes a big threat when he turns on Skyworld and Pit. But even when he becomes such a big threat, Pyrrhon never fails to entertain with his egotistical praise for himself and his overconfidence in his abilities to do whatever he pleases.

Number 54
Galacta Knight
Series: Kirby
Galacta Knight (Kirby: Return to Dream Land)
Galacta Knight was introduced in Kirby Super Star, where he served as an antagonist to Meta-Knight in his story. There is tons of debate on who Galacta Knight truly is. Some believe he may be Meta-Knight from the future, or Meta-Knight from another world, or possibly even Meta-Knight's former master. The theory we have come up with is that Galacta Knight is from an alternate world where Meta-Knight never became Meta-Knight, and instead lived his life like Kirby does and Kirby became Galacta Knight. Could this mysterious swordsman truly be Kirby from an alternate universe?

Number 53
Dark Link
Series: The Legend of Zelda
Dark Link (Ocarina of Time)
Dark Link is exactly what his name implies: a dark version of Link. He first appeared in Zelda II as the main antagonist, trying to kill Link and use his blood to resurrect Ganon. He again appeared in Ocarina of Time, where he was the mini-boss of the Water Temple. His fight was a complete shadow of Link, copying everything he did, which made players have to improvise to land hits on him.

Number 52
Kammy Koopa
Series: Paper Mario
Kammy Koopa (Paper Mario)
Kammy Koopa is Bowser's second-in-command that was introduced in Paper Mario. She served as somewhat of a replacement for Kamek, and immediately had a better impression on the player than Kamek. Kammy Koopa advises Bowser on how to use magical items to stop Mario, causing him to steal the Star Rod from Star Haven. She serves as the final boss for Peach's portion of the game, although it is impossible to not beat her.

Number 51
Tom Nook
Series: Animal Crossing
Tom Nook (Animal Crossing: City Folk)
While some may argue that Tom Nook is not an enemy, we argue that he is. Tom showers the player with debt from the second they step foot into their town. In addition, he pays low prices when he buys back items and charges expensive prices for them at retail. He then passes on these terribly cheap qualities to his kids Timmy and Tommy, who open their own business in New Leaf. Tom expresses his jealousy for his own kids after they are successful, and secretly wishes for their business to collapse. Don't let him fool you, he is the true enemy of any Animal Crosser.
