TOP 100 Nintendo Enemies (31-40)

Number 40
Pigma Dengar
Series: Star Fox
Pigma (Star Fox: Assault)
Pigma is the traitorous swine that appears in multiple Star Fox games. He first appears in Star Fox 64, where he betrays the other original Star Fox members James and Peppy to Andross, shortly before joining up with Star Wolf. In Star Fox: Assault, it is revealed that he betrayed Star Wolf as well, and later betrays all of humanity when he joins up with the Aparoid army.

Number 39
Waddle Dee
Series: Kirby
Waddle Dee (Kirby: Return to Dream Land)
Waddle Dee is the standard enemy that is found in the Kirby series. Waddle Dees have been seen doing a variety of things, from holding spears and parasols to simply walking into Kirby. On multiple occasions, these loyal minions of King Dedede have even aided Kirby.

Number 38
Count Bleck
Series: Paper Mario
Count Bleck (Super Paper Mario)
The story of Count Bleck is a tragic one. He was once a man named Blumiere who was born into a dark tribe. One day, he came across a woman named Timpani of whom he fell in love with. His father, disapproving of their love, threw Timpani into a dimensional vortex, leaving her fate unknown to Blumiere. Blumiere then went crazy and stole the Dark Proganisticus, an ancient and evil tomb that had the power to destroy all worlds. He wanted the world to feel as empty as his heart now felt, and became the wicked Count Bleck.

Number 37
Boo
Series: Super Mario
Boo (New Super Mario Bros.)
Boos are another enemy that have been a tradition in Mario games since Super Mario Bros. 3. These bashful ghosts hide themselves when they are in sight of Mario, but will go after him when his back is turned. Boos became even more prominent after they appeared in Luigi's Mansion, becoming more of Luigi's enemy than Mario's.

Number 36
Zant
Series: The Legend of Zelda
Zant (Twilight Princess)
Zant is the self-proclaimed King of the Twilight that appears as the main antagonist of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for most of the game. Zant believed it was his right to the throne of the Realm of Twilight, but it instead ascended to the Twilight Princess. In his anger, he turned to Ganon, who appeared to him and gave him power beyond any imaginable. Zant then betrayed his people and aided Ganon's conquer of the Realm of Light, becoming one of Ganon's greatest pawns.

Number 35
Goomba
Series: Super Mario
Goomba (New Super Mario Bros. Wii)
The Goomba is the very first enemy Mario encounters in Super Mario Bros. These mushroom-like creatures are the weakest of Bowser's army, but easily the most iconic Mario enemy. While they do not pose much of a threat, there are so many of them and they appear so frequently, that Mario players have grown to love the little creatures.

Number 34
Shy Guy
Series: Super Mario
Shy Guy (Mario Party 8)
While they made their first appearance in Super Mario Bros. 2, Shy Guys don't tend to appear as enemies in many Mario games. They instead have been the primary enemies of the Yoshi's Island games, and tend to be associated with Yoshi quite often. One question that has haunted every Mario player is this: what is behind the Shy Guy's mask? Perhaps we will never get an answer, but we can only assume it is epic.

Number 33
Master Hand
Series: Super Smash Bros.
Master Hand (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
Master Hand is the giant, living hand that appears as the final boss in Classic Mode of all the Super Smash Bros. games. While not much is known about Master Hand, his iconic laugh can be recognizable to any fan of the series, and his boss fight never gets old.

Number 32
Samurai Goroh
Series: F-Zero
Samurai Goroh (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
Before he became an F-Zero driver, Samurai Goroh was a member of the Internova Police along with Captain Falcon, which is where their rivalry began. Ever since, Goroh has been Captain Falcon's sworn rival on the racetrack, and will stop at nothing to beat him in a race.

Number 31
Donkey Kong
Series: Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong (Donkey Kong)
Now, the Donkey Kong you see above is not the actual Donkey Kong that appears in the series today, but is actually the character now known as "Cranky Kong." Donkey was the very first Nintendo villain to ever debut, stealing Jumpman's (now known as Mario's) girlfriend Pauline. This ape stopped at nothing to stop Jumpman in his tracks, and goes down as one of the most memorable villains in Nintendo history.
