SSB Alternate Costume Predictions: Super Mario

Here is another new segment that will be held, which is Super Smash Bros. Alternate Costume Predictions. We are hoping that Smash Bros will include alternate costumes this time around and so I have prepared a list of costumes for the already existing Brawl characters. Today we will cover the Super Mario characters!

Mario

Tanooki Suit

Mario's Tanooki Suit is a very recognizable and iconic costume and would work perfectly in a game like Super Smash Bros.

Bee Mario

Mario's Bee Suit is something that was added into the series during Super Mario Galaxy. While it may not be the most iconic costume, it would be a good addition to his set of alternate costumes.

Hatless Mario

 Mario without a hat would work perfectly as an alternate costume. It is simple and sweet and many would probably enjoy playing with it.

Dr. Mario

 Dr. Mario was featured as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Melee but was cut from the roster in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Why not bring him back in the form of an alternate costume?

Luigi 

Tanooki Suit

Like Mario, Luigi would also look great in his Tanooki suit, which is actually quite different from Mario's.

Mr. L

  Luigi's villainous alter-ego from Super Paper Mario would be a fantastic costume for him in the next Smash Bros, provided they can properly transition it into a 3D render.

Peach

Princess Daisy

While Daisy is already a palette swap for Peach, making a completely new render with Daisy's proper hair and face would be even better! She would fit perfectly as a Peach alternate costume!

Rosalina

Rosalina is the protector of the Galaxy introduced in Super Mario Galaxy. Her backstory also hints that she could be Peach's mother. The resemblance is uncanny, which would make it all the more perfect for her to serve as an alternate costume for Peach.

Sports Outfit

Let's not forget Peach's sporting gear. Wearing a stylish ponytail in those short shorts and tank top would be another perfect costume for Peach!

Bowser

  

Dry Bowser

The only costume I could come up with for Bowser is probably one of the best costumes I could come up with period. Dry Bowser was introduced in the New Super Mario Bros. series and is a recurring extra boss. He would be perfect as a Bowser alternate costume.
